Quick Start Guide

Create your first product catalog in just a few simple steps

1

Add your products

Open Products in the left toolbar. On Shopify, click Import Products and pick your collections (or B2B catalog); everywhere else, click Import from CSV and map your columns. Your products flow automatically onto grid pages.

No store? You can also add products by CSV upload or one at a time by hand — a Shopify store is not required.
2

Pick a layout

Open Layouts in the left toolbar and click a grid preset — 2, 3 or 4 columns, a featured layout, or build your own with Create your own layout (just enter rows × columns). Products auto-fill the grid and spill onto new pages as needed.

Turn on “Start each collection on a new page” when importing to keep collections on separate pages.
3

Style the product cards

Open Grid settings to control the card layout (image stacked on top or side‑by‑side), image size and fit, background and border, spacing, page margins, and the header & footer bands.

Drag the Header or Footer height slider to 0 to hide it. Click the header/footer text on the page to edit it.
4

Choose which fields to show

Open Product Fields to turn fields on or off — title, price, compare‑at price, SKU, variants, barcode, QR code, metafields, description and more. Drag to reorder them and set each one to ⅓, ⅔ or full width.

Use the Apply to menu at the top to change fields on every page, on pages with the same layout, or just this page.
5

Fine-tune with the Properties panel

Click any field or element on the page. The Properties panel on the right lets you change the font, size, colour, alignment, spacing, borders, and add text before/after (like “$” or “/each”).

The Apply to selector (e.g. “Same field, all pages”) restyles that field across the whole catalog in one click. Hold Ctrl and click to select several fields at once.
6

Add pages, text & elements

Use the page bar at the bottom to add, duplicate or reorder pages (right‑click a thumbnail for options). Add free design elements from Custom text, Elements (shapes, icons, photos and your uploads) and Background — drag, resize and align them anywhere, Canva‑style.

Right‑click a page thumbnail to add a full‑page title/cover between pages.
7

Preview & export your PDF

Click Preview to see the exact output, then Export PDF in the top‑right. Choose a print quality — Draft, Standard, High or Best — and click Generate PDF. Your catalog is rendered and downloads when ready.

Your work saves automatically as you edit. You can also save manually with Ctrl+S and roll back from Version History (the clock icon).

Pages & Templates
How do I add a new page to my catalog?

There are several ways to add new pages:

  • Click the "+" button in the page bar at the bottom
  • Right-click on a page thumbnail and select "Add New Page"
  • Use the keyboard shortcut (if available)
How do I delete a page?

To delete a page:

  • Right-click on the page thumbnail in the page bar at the bottom
  • Select "Delete Page" from the context menu
  • Confirm the deletion when prompted

Note: You cannot delete the last remaining page. The catalog must have at least one page.

How do I save and reuse a page layout as a template?

There are a few ways to reuse your work:

  • Duplicate a page — right‑click a page thumbnail in the bottom page bar and choose Duplicate Page to copy a fully‑styled page, then swap its products.
  • Reuse a grid — open the Layouts panel and apply the same preset (or your custom layout) to another page.
  • Save a card style — you can save a product card’s style as a preset and reapply it to other cards later.
How do I add headers and footers to pages?

To add headers and footers:

  • Open the Grid settings panel
  • Find the "Header & Footer" section
  • Toggle on the header and/or footer checkboxes
  • Click on the header/footer area to edit the content

Export & Sharing
How do I export my catalog as a PDF?

To export as PDF:

  • Click Export PDF in the top-right corner of the editor
  • In the Create PDF Catalog window, give your file a name
  • Choose a print quality — Draft (72 DPI), Standard (96 DPI), High (150 DPI) or Best (300 DPI)
  • Click Generate PDF — your catalog is rendered on our servers and downloads when it’s ready

Tip: Use Best (300 DPI) for professional printing and Standard for sharing by email or link. Higher quality means a larger file.

Can I share my catalog online?

Yes. Once your catalog is published, open it from My Catalogs to get shareable links:

  • Wholesale and Showcase links — interactive online flipbooks you can send to buyers or embed
  • PDF download link — a direct link to the exported PDF
  • You can also lock a catalog with a password from the workspace

The editor itself exports print-ready PDF; the online flipbook and share links are generated for you when the catalog is published.

Troubleshooting
How do I undo a mistake?

Why are my products not showing images?

If product images are not displaying:

  • Check that the image URLs in your product data are accessible
  • Ensure images are not blocked by CORS policies
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Check your browser's console for error messages
The application is running slowly. What can I do?

To improve performance:

  • Close unused browser tabs
  • Work with fewer products per page
  • Use optimized (smaller file size) images
  • Clear browser cache and reload
  • Try using a different browser (Chrome recommended)
I lost my work. Can I recover it?

EasyCatalog auto-saves your work to browser storage. If you accidentally closed the browser:

  • Simply reopen the application - your last saved state should be restored
  • If auto-save hasn't captured recent changes, check if you have a manual save

Prevention tip: Regularly click "Save" and export important catalogs as PDF for backup.
